St. Aloysius School SAIT Campus Gaur is owned and established by the Catholic Diocese of Jabalpur, and it is administered by the Diocesan Cooperation of Jabalpur (D.C.J) a registered body under the Society of Registration Act.
The chromatic brilliance of meritorious service of St. Aloysius School Gaur began in the year 2014, driven by the vision to spread the legacy of St. Aloysius during the tenure of Rev. Fr. Thankachan Jose, Principal of St. Aloysius Sr. Sec. School Cantt branch. The academic journey of the school began with 29 students in L.K.G at St. Aloysius Sr. Sec. School Cantt ., and shifted to the new premises sharing the SAIT building which was inaugurated by Rt. Rev. Bishop Gerald Almeda Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Jabalpur on 16th March 2015, marked the beginning of the educational journey of St. Aloysius School Gaur within the S.A.I.T Campus.
To pave the way for future growth and success Rev. Fr. Sibi Joseph, Principal of St. Aloysius School Cantt branch, took charge as the Manager of the School on 9th May 2016, and as pioneering Head Mistress of the school Sr. Minna Michel SABS took charge on 20th May 2016. Sr. Fuela Clemencia SABS was welcomed by the Aloysian family as the second Head Mistress on 8th May 2019.
The school accomplished twine milestones in 2021. A brand-new building was dedicated to the glory of God and service of mankind by the tireless efforts of the visionary leader, Rev. Fr. Sibi Joseph. The School building was blessed and inaugurated by Rt. Rev. Bishop Gerald Almeida on 17th July 2021. The school was granted CBSE affiliation for Secondary level for five years on 25th October 2021 during the tenure of Rev. Fr. Sibi Joseph the Manager, Sr. Fuela Clemencia the Headmistress.
Sr. Ambily Jose SABS commenced her role as first Principal of the school on 4th May 2022. She initiated the Nursery Class in 2023, leading a team of 34 teachers in providing remarkable academic and Co-curricular excellence in education to 910 students. With the need of the hour, the school was granted permission to expand I to VIII class with three and two sections for IX and class X in 2023. As the School marked its decennial year the first batch of X CBSE board successfully passed out with flying colours in the year 2024.
The Diocese of Jabalpur was blessed with a new Bishop Rt. Rev. AG Vazhan Arasu, and the Chairman of DCJ, ushering in a new era of hope, determination and visionary leadership. Bringing a shared vision of academic excellence and commitment to provide top-notch education to 956 students aided by a team of 38 skilled teachers, Rev. Fr. Thankachan Jose and Rev. Fr. S Arockiya Raja took charge as Manager and Principal respectively on 14th June 2024.
